In 2015 our family had the incredible blessing of welcoming Miss Ada Kietumetsi into our lives. While Ada started her life in a South African baby home she has found a place forever in our family and hearts. South Africa is forever a part of our family and the multitudes of vulnerable children weigh deeply on our hearts. It is for this reason that our family has partnered with "Hands at Work" to sponsor 50 of the most vulnerable children in the community of Sthobela in South Africa.
It is a huge commitment but we have stepped out in faith. We have committed to support them financially and to pray for the workers and children in earnest. We get regular updates as to the work that is going on in our community....as it truly has begun to feel like "our community". We know the workers by name and the stories of the children. We hope one day the Lord will provide the opportunity for us to meet these people in person.
